Basis of Treatment Design Based on the results of water quality sampling, it has been determined that treatment is needed to reduce iron and manganese concentrations to at or below 80% of EPA secondary maximum contaminant levels of 0.3 mg/L for iron and 0.05 mg/L for manganese.
