Site work for a water / sewer project in Rye, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of February 6, 2025, this project was for design only and not construction. Design is nearly complete. Include a formal letter describing how the firm would carry out and manage the project, the anticipated project timeline, and the invoicing system and payment schedule you would propose to cover your fee. Do not make a fee proposal in your Statement of Qualifications. The letter should provide a written commitment to participate in the project as described in your letter if selected. The letter must be signed by the firm principal who will manage the project. Candidate firms will submit a statement of qualifications in support of completing a project that would address the following scope of work: 1. Implement low impact development (LID) techniques as a design strategy for reducing nonpoint runoff and improving water quality. 2. Analyze the existing parking area to determine recommended options to provide LID parking and roadways. 3. Coordinate and meet with agency staff to determine the types of materials, parking layouts and roadway orientation. 4. Preparation of options to meet LID and xeriscaping goals. 5. Based on selected material options, preparation of design development documents and cost estimating for the selected systems. 6. Preparation of construction documents and specifications for use in competitive bidding of the work. Engineering firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide design, and engineering services for a permeable parking lot, entrance way modification and xeriscaping for stormwater management at Rye Harbor State Park. Successful completion of this project will provide Rye Harbor State Park with a re-designed entranceway, sufficient parking spaces, and stormwater management to prevent erosion and flooding. An assessment of available porous parking lot materials and stormwater control technologies along with xeriscaping, will be essential to provide NHDNCR with material and construction cost estimates, production of drawings and specifications for use in competitive bidding.
