Email response from source doesn't contain bidders amount. ** The Town of Rye, NH is soliciting proposals from contractors interested in providing bituminous asphalt paving services to the town. The Town of Rye reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals for whatever reason the Rye Select Board determine to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Rye, New Hampshire is requesting cost proposals for bituminous asphalt binder, shimming, overlaying; grinding; milling; structure adjustment; and side dressing of Town roads. The project consists of shimming and overlaying with asphalt and gravel side dressing of a number of roads throughout the Town, raising structures where necessary, and milling of selected town roads. WORK AREAS The anticipated roads requiring structure adjustment, tack coating, shim and overlay paving, shoulder dressing and/or two inches of winter binder and/or grinding are identified as follows: 1. WASHINGTON ROAD III located in map quadrant E- 2, from its intersection with Grove Road, being a distance of approximately 3,300 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 30 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravelshoulder dressing. 2. HUNTER RUN located in map quadrant E- 2, from its intersection with Washington Road, being a distance of approximately 1,400 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 24 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 3. LANG LANE located in map quadrant D-2/3, from its intersection with Washington Road to Town Line being a distance of approximately 2500 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 30 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of asphalt to restore its cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 4. BIG ROCK ROAD located in map quadrant E-4, from its intersection with Cable Road to its intersection with Perkins Road, being a distance of approximately 1,500 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 24 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 5. TOWER AVENUE located in map quadrant E-4, from its intersection with Big Rock Road to its end, being a distance of approximately 350 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 12 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 6. ALDER AVENUE located in map quadrant E-4, from its intersection with, Big Rock Road to its end, being a distance of approximately 350 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 14 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 7. OAK AVENUE located in map quadrant E-4, from its intersection with, Big Rock Road to its end, being a distance of approximately 610 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 14 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 8. SPRUCE AVENUE located in map quadrant E-4 From its intersection with Big Rock Road to its end, being a distance of approximately 350 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 14 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 9. POWERS AVENUE located in map quadrant E-4 From its intersection with, Big Rock Road to its end, being a distance of approximately 600 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 12 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 10. GRAY COURT located in map quadrant E-4 From its intersection with, Big Rock Road to its intersection with Ocean Boulevard (RT1A), being a distance of approximately 1,100 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 18 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 11. MYRICA AVENUE located in map quadrant E-4 From its intersection with, Big Rock Road to its intersection with Ocean Boulevard (RT1A), being a distance of approximately 1,200 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 18 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing. 12. BAKER AVENUE located in map quadrant E-4 From its intersection with Big Rock Road to its intersection with Ocean Boulevard (RT1A) being a distance of approximately 1,300 linear feet, with an average width of approximately 22 linear feet. This roadway section shall receive a full width emulsion tack coat, a shim course of bituminous asphalt to restore the road cross section, a one-inch overlay course of bituminous asphalt paving, and final gravel shoulder dressing.
