The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via the "CLARIFICATIONS" feature in PennBid no later than 12:00 PM on September 15, 2023 The proposed Scope of Services includes design, preparation of Bid Documents, assistance with the Bidding process, evaluating and recommending the most qualified contractor, and inspecting for projects including but not limited to infrastructure rehabilitation/construction, commercial/residential demolition and/or rehabilitation, and recreation etc. The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Uniontown (RACU) is requesting proposals from engineering firms to provide services necessary for design, preparation of bid documents, assistance with the bidding process, evaluating and recommending the most qualified contractor, and inspecting as needed; all in accordance with 24 CFR Part 85. Some projects will be funded using federal grant funds administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to include but not limited to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and/or the HOME Investment Partnership Program. Both programs are administered by RACU on behalf of the City of Uniontown. Qualifications will be opened and reviewed on the first floor of City Hall at 20 N. Gallatin Avenue Uniontown at 3PM, and an engineer will be selected at the RACU regular scheduled meeting at the same location at 4PM.
