Purchase and installation of state of the art, single point video detection units at intersections in West Des Moines. The detectors would be installed at intersections that currently use in-pavement detector loops. Traffic signal timing changes, or adapts, based on actual traffic conditions. This project is included in the city's fiscal year 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Program.
