King County is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified suppliers to provide lowpressure, high-output closed vessel ultraviolet (UV) disinfection units for disinfection of membrane bioreactor (MBR) treated reuse water from a municipal wastewater treatment plant per Section 2 Scope of Work/Requirements. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract to provide goods and/or services. The term of the Contract will be six (6) years, subject to the termination clauses contained herein. King County reserves the right to extend the Contract term if determined to be in the best interest of the County. All questions and any explanations about this RFP must be requested in writing and sent via email to the Contract Specialist and Alternate Contract Specialist no later than seven (7) Days prior to the close date specified in the solicitation.
