Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project involves the widening of Mills Civic Parkway from South 81st Street to South 88th Street and widening along South 88th Street approximately 400 feet south of the Mills Civic Parkway intersection. The project includes approximately 18,666 SY of reinforced PCC pavement, 20,164 SY of granular subbase, 758 SY of sidewalk and shared-use path PCC pavement, storm sewer, and traffic signals at the South 81st Street and South 88th Street intersections. Also included is Excavation, Construction Staking, Traffic Control, and other related items needed to complete the project. As of October 10, 2024, the project is in design. The construction document completion timeline has not been released. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been disclosed.
