Site work for a water / sewer project in East Lyme, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The 18-inch ductile iron wastewater force main and installing a line stop, located at 141 Main St Niantic, CT. This work will include; site work, shoring, dewatering and the installation of an 8-ft diameter manhole. Any questions regarding this bid should be emailed to Matthew Garneau (mgarneau@eltownhall.com) no later than 4 PM on Friday September 29, 2023 in case an addendum needs to be sent to all prospective bidders. The East Lyme Water and Sewer Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality, or; to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the East Lyme Water and Sewer Department. All Bidders shall furnish with their Bid a bid security in the form of a bid bond, cash or a certified check, treasurer's check or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid and made payable to the Town of East Lyme. Contractor shall furnish a payment bond, in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price It is the intention ofthe Town to have the paving and curb work completed by November 10, 2023 It is the intention of the Water and Sewer Department to have the work substantially completed by January 1, 2023
