The scope of the Triton Center Project at UC San Diego includes the redevelopment of a 9.2-acre site. The project aims to replace old structures with new, higher-density, sustainability-focused buildings. It is intended to provide expanded and centralized space for specialized instructional support, student health and well-being services, including mental health, and other student academic services and resources to meet the needs of a growing and diverse student population. Additionally, the project includes the construction of an alumni and welcome center, multi-purpose space for various campus programs, public realm improvements, and structured parking. The project is designed to comply with the University of California Policy on Sustainable Practices and UC San Diego design guidelines.
