The Project consists of approximately of 2,470 linear feet of assorted 15"-30" storm drain piping, 6,673 linear feet of 24" roll-over curb and gutter, various curb inlets & drop inlets and associated 9.5 mm Superpave Asphalt Resurfacing along with all additional items indicated in the Contract Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening with one exception. NPDES Stormwater permitting will be required on this project and the contractor shall be responsible for filing NOI, NOT, and payment of all applicable land disturbance fees. No acquisition of property for easements, right of way, etc. is expected on this project. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Community Development Block Grant program and, as such, is subject to Federal and State contract provisions. This project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, as amended. This is a Section 3 Contract opportunity and Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. **Document Notes Bidding Documents are available electronically (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $300.00. Paper copies of bid documents are also available for an additional $100.00 non-refundable charge. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, Bidding Documents will be sent via email or other means of electronic file distribution. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
