Renovation of a medical facility in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This project involves the renovation of a CT Scanner suite in the Victoria General Hospital. The room is located on the "Level 2 South D&T" area of Victoria General Hospital. The CT equipment vendor has yet to be selected. The construction manager will need to coordinate the vendor on the removal of the old piece of equipment. Once the equipment is removed, the suite’s finishes will require refreshing. Mechanical and electrical work will be required. Below is a sample list of some of the work involved: New electrical service will need to be provided to the room. The end goal is to have this equipment on the delayed vital distribution, however it may be temporarily fed from the normal power distribution installation of a new transformer One new pedestal style hand hygiene sink and relocation of utility sink Removal/ adjustments to millwork, replaced with rolling shelving storage Improvements to the technologist work stations Coordination of installation and delivery with equipment vendor Assessment of cooling in nearby tech closet and main CT scanner room Documents can be obtained from https://islandhealthfdc.bidsandtenders.ca/ Awarded value not released for publication.
