Demolition and site work for a residential development in Olney, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
As of September 29, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Anticipated award would be next month. the demolition of a single-family residence located at 434 E. Lafayette Street in the City of Olney The City of Olney reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. The successful bidder shall notify the City ofOlney at least 24 hours in advance of the time the work is to start on demolishing the building. The successful bidder is responsible for contacting all public utilities. Any sewer line on the property shall be permanently plugged. The successful bidder shall use its best efforts to minimize the damage to sidewalks in the performance ofthe removal ofthe building and debris. The successful bidder shall remove concrete drives, the structure, foundation, and footings and fill in and level the site. The bidder shall provide all necessary labor, machinery, tools, and equipment to do all the work necessary for the removal ofthe buildings. All rubbish, debris and overgrown brush or trees shall be removed from the premises to an approved facility. The work shall be completed within 30 days from the notice of award ofthe bid. The successful bidder shall comply with all specifications on the attached sheet entitled "City of Olney Specifications for Demolition of a Residence at 434 East Lafayette.
