The San Gabriel Council of Governments (SGVCOG) is accepting bids for a proposed grade separation located on Turnbull Canyon Road in the City of Industry and Unincorporated Los Angeles County within the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Los Angeles Subdivision at milepost 17.18. The grade separation is between Mal brook Drive to the South and Don Julian Road to the North. Turnbull Canyon Road will be elevated above the UPRR Railroad and San Jose Creek. The project work includes the construction of typical street features such as curb, gutter, sidewalk, roadway structural sections, landscape and irrigation, and site and private property improvements; bridge construction including demolition of the bridge over San Jose Creek, construction of CIDH piles, abutments, abutment caps, columns, column bent, pedestrian steel bridge, and earth retaining structures; construction of storm drain improvements, modifications, and relocations; grading and preparing the site within the City and County right-of-way, drainage facilities, sewer and water relocations, relocation of utilities; installation of street, bridge, and parking lot lighting, signing and striping, water main, and protection, modification, and/or relocation of existing dry and wet utilities.
