Renovation of a municipal facility in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of November 10, 2023, project was awarded to Acadia Roofing awarded amount is $281,117.50. ** This Request for Quotations ("RFQ") is an invitation by the Municipality of the County of Annapolis (The Municipality) for the submission of bids by qualified contractors to repair 4400 sq foot section of the Municipal Administration Building's east-side flat roof. The project will include all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. It is imperative that this project is completed by a deadline of November 3, 2023. Project consists of but is not limited to the following: o Remove existing roof assembly to vapour barrier and dispose at an authorized waste facility. o Prime existing vapour barrier with modified bitumen primer. o Supply & Install vapour barrier, to be torch applied. o Supply & Install Average R30 Rigid Insulation, tapered to roof drains. Insulation to be installed in o two (2) layers. Insulation to be adhered with adhesives. o Supply & Install 3/16" Asphalt Protection Board w/ 180g base sheet, to be adhered. o Supply & Install 250g Cap Sheet, to be torch applied. o Supply & install two (2) Retro-Fit Roof Drains. o Flash in eight (8) skylights with 2-ply modified bitumen roof membrane flashings. o Flash in two (2) Sleepers with 2-ply modified bitumen roof membrane flashings. o Flash in roof curbs with 2-ply modified bitumen roof membrane flashings. o Flash in parapet walls with 2-ply modified bitumen roof membrane flashings. o Supply & install pre-finished metal flashings (gravel-stop style) around perimeter edge. o General clean up of work area, leaving the work site in a presentable manner.
