Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany the Bid. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract will be required of the successful bidder. The Borough of Ebensburg reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any and all Bids. The Borough of Ebensburg is seeking bids from qualified Bidders to renovate the outdoor Ebensburg Borough Swimming Pool. The project includes remediaton of remaining pool gutters around the pool edge, removal and replacement of 6'' tle line at the gutters, re-plaster any damaged areas of the pool shell and paint any remaining pool shell that was not painted during renovaton in May & June of 2024. Quanttes shown here are for illustratng the scope of the project only. It is the contractor's responsibility to determine constructon quanttes. The project is a prevailing wage project, subject to the Pa. Prevailing Wage Act, and as such the wage rate determination is attached. The contract provisions, including prevailing wage requirements, apply to work performed on the contract by the contractor and sub-contractors. The Borough will accept questions related to the project until noon on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024. Submit questions to kcook@ebenburgpa.com. Bidders are advised to check www.ebensburgpa.com on or after Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, for any further addendums. Provide a conventional proprietary aggregate plaster finish to the pool structure(s). Provide installation of bond coat prior to application of pool finishes. A ceramic tile trim shall be furnished and installed on the pool vertical tile band, stairs, underwater bench nosings, recessed wall steps, depth markings, wall targets, floor lane markings, along construction joints, and all other tile installations as shown and detailed on the contract drawings and in strict accordance with these specifications.
