1 Work of this Contract comprises the following: 1 Abatement and removal of hazardous materials. 2 Hazardous materials to be removed are located and noted in the hazmat report. Areas not to be abated are indicated on the drawings as well. 3 Refer to division 02 sections for details 4 Material to be removed but not limited to, see hazardous material assessment for full details 1. Drywall Joint compound on walls 2. Smooth Drywall Joint compound on ceiling and bulkhead 3. Stippled Drywall Joint compound on ceiling and Bulkhead 4. Floor Tile in all bathrooms, shower rooms and Jacuzzi rooms 5. Doorframe Caulking 6. PCB Ballasts 7. ODS 8. Radioactive Smoke Detectors 2 Demolition of: 1. Washroom fixtures in all bathrooms, shower rooms and Jacuzzi rooms fixtures 2. Walk in freezers 3. Furniture in areas being abated is to be removed - see drawings for typical furniture plan
