The Village of Lisle requests bids for the replacement of a water tank flow control valve. The work included in this contract shall consist of furnishing all the materials, labor, and equipment required for the replacement of the Green Trails elevated storage tank (ELST) flow control valve and motor-operated actuator, and all other incidental work necessary to complete this improvement according to the plans, Standard Specifications, and special provisions. Any addenda issued for this bid will be issued and posted on the Village's website on, or before, 3 business days prior to the bid opening at 11:00 AM on September 28, 2023. It is the bidder's responsibility to check at the Village's website or Demandstar.com for any issued addenda. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid , Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Village of Lisle for not less than five percent of the bid amount. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such or check. All work under this Contract is subject to the Illinois Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. A has been made by the Illinois Department of Labor for public works projects in DuPage County and can be accessed by computer. The Village of Lisle reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder without disclosure for any reason. Failure to make such a disclosure will not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action by any bidder against the Village of Lisle. The contractor selected will also be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and executive orders including but not limited to those pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
