Site work and paving for a civil project in Manchester, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids may be submitted prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. Work under this contract includes the replacement of approximately 320 linear feet of 4' high ornamental steel fencing on existing concrete retaining walls at the Cheney Rail Trail Bridge over Center Street (261 Center St) in Manchester. It also includes isolated repairs to existing concrete wall using Class "S" super plasticized concrete. The Project Schedule for this project is projected to be completed within FIFTY (50) Working days (contract days). Question Submission Deadline: September 25, , 4:00pm Question Response Deadline: September 27, , 4:00pm The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects and to make such awards including accepting a bid, although not the low bid, as it deems in its sole discretion to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any bid if the Bidder, any officer of the Bidder, or any other company owned in whole or in part by an officer(s) of the Bidder, is delinquent in the payment of any taxes or fees owed to the Town. The Town reserves the right to require a disclosure statement from the Bidder listing the name(s) of all officers of the company
