1. Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to construct a bus bulb at the intersection of Noche Buena and San Pablo, as described in the attached design and specifications. 2. Contractor will develop a traffic control plan to obtain an encroachment permit from the City of Seaside. 3. Contractor will provide progress reports and photos of the project, sharing updates as necessary. The project described in this IFB is, by definition, a Public Works Project and is subject to Public Works regulations as required by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). As such, the contractor must agree to the following requirements: a. Prevailing Wages: This Project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, and Contractor and its Subcontractors are required to pay all workers employed for the performance of this Contract no less than the applicable prevailing wage rate for each such worker. Contractor acknowledges that the project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations in accordance with SB 854. b. Contractor and Contractor’s subcontractor(s) shall comply with all applicable provisions of Labor Code Sections 1776 and 1812, which relate to preparing and maintaining accurate payroll records, and making such payroll records available for review by MST, DIR’s Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and DIR’s Division of Apprenticeship Standards (including any required electronic submission of records). Payroll records shall include all information required by applicable law, including, but not limited to, name, address, social security number, work week, and actual per diem wages paid to each journeyman, apprentice, worker, or other employee retained by Contractor in connection with the work. The payroll records shall be certified, maintained at the Contractor’s principal offices, and made available as required pursuant to Labor Code Section 1776. Contractor shall furnish MST with copies of certified payroll records for the duration of the contract period.
