Renovation of a multi-residential development in Marshall, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
2.1 The following is a general description of the work required for the building construction and site work for the project, hereinafter specified and shown on the drawings. Work includes removal and replacement of 20 patio doors located on the 2nd thru 6th floors with new sliding patio doors at Parkview apartments and related sidelights, transoms and related work. Work includes removal and replacement of 7 apartment unit entry doors at 2 story East Main Apartments and related work. 2.2 Unless otherwise specified, the contractor shall supply labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, fuel, energy, light, scaffolding, and tools necessary for the entire proper and final completion of their work; and shall install, maintain, and remove all equipment of the construction and other utensils or items, and be responsible for the safe, proper, and lawful construction, maintenance, and use of same; and shall construct in the best and most workmanlike manner, a complete project including everything properly incidental thereto as shown on the plans, stated in specifications or reasonably implied therefrom, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. 2.3 Work hours and access to the apartments shall be coordinated with the owner. The apartments are to remain occupied during construction, with as minimal disruption to the residents as possible. 2.4 Contractors will be required to park off-site. Construction deliveries to be coordinated with Facilities Director.
