SBMWD has identified the need to replace an aged water main in the Lower Pressure Zone. This project consists of furnishing all material, labor and equipment to construct 1,885 linear feet of 12 diameter cement mortar lined ductile iron pipe in West Rialto Avenue and 788 linear feet of 8 diameter cement mortar lined ductile iron pipe in North K Street along with other associated work as shown in the project plans and specifications for Specification No. 1797. The Project includes installing 788 LF of 8" DIP and 1,885 LF of 12" DIP (pressure class 350, cement mortar lined ductile iron water pipe with V-Bio polywrap encasement). The pipe installation also includes, but not limited to, saw-cut pavement, excavation of trench, backfill, compaction, testing, fittings, valves, warning tape, trench protection, shoring, disinfection, pressure testing, service tie-ins, fire hydrants and final tie-ins.
