The Town of Beloit is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive re-roofing services for our Fire Station located at 2445 South Afton Road, Beloit, WI 53511. We are interested in using GAF roofing materials or equivalent for this project and are accepting bids from licensed, experienced contractors who can meet our requirements. Project Overview: The roofing project involves replacing the existing roof with high- quality roofing materials. The purpose of this project is to ensure the safety and integrity of our firehouse while extending the life of the roof and enhancing its energy efficiency. Scope of Work: Inspection and assessment of the existing roof. Removal and disposal of the existing roofing materials. Re-decking with 4" plywood sheathing fastened with sheathing clips. Installation of GAF roofing materials or equivalent, including but not limited to: GAF shingles (Specify type and color) Underlayment Flashing Ventilation system Inspection and testing of the new roof to ensure it meets all manufacturer and industry standards. Daily clean-up of the work area and proper disposal of debris. Requirements: Contractor must be licensed and insured in accordance with local and state regulations. Contractor must be GAF Master Elite Certified or equivalent as determined by the Town of Beloit. Warranty must be for a minimum of 40 years for material and labor and not be prorated.
