The work in accordance with the contract documents, dated September 12, 2023, and any addenda thereto, includes all expertise, labor, supervision, materials, tools, vehicles, equipment, fuels, services, and appurtenances required to perform vegetation management activities for the Westerville Electric Division (WED), such as, but not limited to, the removal and/or trimming of trees near overhead power lines, streets and public property, mowing, and applying herbicide. The Q&A period for this opportunity ends at 4:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, September 28, 2023. he initial term of the contract shall be from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. The contract may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods. The maximum funding for the 2024 contract year is $600,000 subject to appropriation of funds. No bonds, either a bid bond or performance/payment bond will be required. The City reserves the right not to award a contract and to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities. Subject to the right of the City not to award a contract and to reject any or all bids, the City will award a Contract to the bidder submitting the lowest and best bid, taking into consideration accepted alternates.
