Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Saint Louis, Missouri. Working plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Plans call for the redevelopment of the Clinton-Peabody Apartments. The property includes 358 residential units over 31 buildings. Clinton-Peabody was built in 1942 and is the oldest property in the St. Louis Housing Authority’s portfolio. As of October 13, 2025, demolition commenced on Phase 1 in September 2025. Sub bidding is currently underway on a separate listing. Construction of the new units for Phase 1 will start in early 2026. The buildings are scheduled to be completed mid-2027. All offerors must comply with all federal regulations including MBEBE and Section 3 requirements. SLHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer Although a firm timeline has not been confirmed for the final phases. Once construction has started it will take approximately 18 months to complete.
