Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
The project consists of, but is not limited to, remodel of bathrooms in stacks E and F. The bathrooms will be converted from mass, shared bathrooms to private, accessible units. The work includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system modifications, interior finish updates, and layout changes. Item 1.01 Note to Bidders: Bidding of Stack E & Stack F project is being extended as Stack G will be added to the Work by a future addendum, forecast to be issued around November 6, 2023 (actual date to be determined). Future addenda will include revisions to all affected Drawings and Specifications for incorporating Stack G into the Work and adjustments to Project Substantial Completion and Work restriction dates (00 01 10 Table of Contents, 00 01 15 List of Drawing Sheets, 00 52 13 Form of Agreement Between Constructor and Owner, etc.). It is forecast that Stack E & Stack F scope of work information will not be reissued. This project has a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses as specified in the Project Requirements. This project is tax exempt. Iowa Construction Sales Tax Exemption Certificates will be provided on this project. Addendum #1-#4 have been issued as of 12-6-2023.
