The Improvements under this Work Document-Driven Contract consist of routine mowing of grassed and/or vegetated roadside
areas, within the Departments right-of way, along State Road 8 (I-10) and all Primary roadways south of State Road 10 (US 90)
in Santa Rosa County. Approximate locations for each type of mowing are shown in the Appendices. Hand labor or small
machine mowing may be required to perform the specified work in certain areas. Hand labor shall be considered incidental to the
type of mowing being performed. Mobilization and Maintenance of Traffic are incidental to the pay items listed.
For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in
the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of
either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a
Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in
excess of $150,000.00 Proposal Guaranty of $500 is required for bids over $150,000 and may be in the form of a Cashiers Check, the BDI Bid or Proposal Bond Form No. 375-020-16, or the standard Bid or Proposal Bond form, Form No. 375-020-09.
