Synthetic Turf firms should formulate their proposals to illustrate excellence in the following criteria consolidated into one single document (pdf): TURF PRODUCT MANUFACTURING AND SYSTEM DESIGN o Football/Soccer specific turf systems. Each vendor may submit a system / product design categorized as a "premium" (2 total turf designs maximum). Include alternate pricing for a Shock Attenuation Pad. o Product manufacturer's standard warranty. o Extended warranty (manufacturer or third party). o Warranty request response track record. o Ability to meet production timeframe for project completion. o Product insurance requirements. INSTALLATION QUALIFICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE o List of existing installation locations of identical turf systems with contact information to arrange site visits or discuss past projects with the evaluation committee members. o Past experience working with a separate contractor that provides the base installation, i.e. layers of drainage, gravel, laser grading, and conduits, etc. o Installation experience with turf installation and seaming, infill installation, striping, and initial grooming for play. o Turf installer should be affiliated with or previously worked with the proposed product(s) manufacturer. CLIENT SUPPORT, TRAINING, WARRANTY o Manufacturer's experience showing post installation support, training, testing, maintenance, warranty claims, etc. o List of existing installation locations of similar type of turf systems with contact information for reference verification.
