As of October 11, 2023, all bids came in over budget, there will be plans to re-bid in the future. Bids must be made on the Townships proposal form and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bear-ing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside addressed to the Township of Evesham, Office of the Township Clerk, Municipal Com-plex, 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, New Jersey 08053. Bids shall be accepted no later than 11:30 AM at the Township Clerks office, Room 201. The bidder shall also provide an exact copy of the bid documents on a USB flash drive in the bid envelope. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid but not in excess of $20,000, and be delivered to the place and by the hour above named. Bidders shall submit a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the total amount of the bid from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the owner stating that it will provide said bidder with a Performance Bond in the full amount of the bid. Failure to submit a bid bond or consent of surety form shall result in rejection of the bid. The Township will not assume responsibility for bids mailed in. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technical defects and make the award to the lowest responsible bidder. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., N.J.S.A. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), and Americans with Dis-abilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et.seq.).
