Equipment and Systems Maintenance and Repairs Contract RLSJC Deadline 09/27/2023 at 2:00 PM ET. BID : All Vendors submitting a bid on a construction project shall furnish a valid bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid protecting the State of West Virginia. PERFORMANCE : The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a performance in the amount of 100% of the contract. The performance must be received by the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation prior to Contract award. LABOR/MATERIAL PAYMENT : The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a labor/material payment in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The labor/material payment must be delivered to the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation prior to Contract award. MAINTENANCE : The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a two (2) year maintenance covering the roofing system if the work impacts an existing roof. The amount of the must be equal to the price associated with the percentage of the project impacting the roof. The maintenance must be issued and delivered to the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation prior to Contract award. In lieu of the Bid , Vendor may provide certified checks, cashier's checks, or irrevocable letters of credit. Any certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit provided in lieu of the bid must be of the same amount required of the Bid and delivered with the bid. The Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in bids or specifications in accordance with West Virginia Code of State Rules. In instances where these specifications require documentation or other information with the bid, and a Vendor fails to provide it with the bid, the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation reserves the right to request those items after bid opening and prior to contract award pursuant to the authority to waive minor irregularities in bids or specifications under . This authority does not apply to instances where state law mandates receipt with the bid.
