The City of Lloydminster (City) is seeking Quotations from qualified contractors to provide servicing for fire alarm and intrusion alarm monitoring, maintenance, and repair in accordance with the most recent standards set forth by the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA 72). The term of the agreement will be for three (3) years. The following is a current list of the buildings requiring alarm monitoring services. o Archie Miller Arena o Bioclean Aquatic Centre o Civic Centre Arena o Bulk Water o City Hall o Fire Hall 2 o Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre o Operation Centre o RCMP Detachment o Russ Robertson Arena o Servus Sports Centre o Outdoor Pool o Lloydminster Museum and Archive o Waste Water Treatment Plant For a list of required services and equipment please see Appendix A. *This list is subject to change throughout the term of the agreement. Contractors will be notified of any change to the list in advance of at least thirty (30) calendar days. The work to be performed is located at City owned facilities throughout the City of Lloydminster. There are Fourteen (14) Fire Alarm Systems. This contract will include the following: 1. Proposal to include 24-hour UL listed Central Station Monitoring of Thirteen (13) Fire/Life Safety Systems AND annual UL certification fees. 2. Proposal to include intrusion alarm monitoring for ten (10) City owned buildings. 3. Proposal to include dialer testing and alarm license fees as may be required by the City of Lloydminster, and/or by Provincial or federal laws. 4. Proposal to include all ongoing routine maintenance costs . Maintenance cost should include at a minimum, maintaining dialing equipment, cost of annual inspections, and performing software update as needed. Hardware replacements will be discussed and priced on an as needed basis. 5. Proposal shall include any other normal routine maintenance considered for the fire and intrusion alarm panels as per NFP 72 Standards Any questions can be sent to Nicholas Dunstan via email at ndunstan@lloydminster.ca before September 19, 2023. Any questions or items that require clarification with respect to the above please submit questions to the Project Manager. Addenda will be issued to all Vendors to answer any questions, up until September 20, 2023. The City reserves the right to: accept or reject any Quotation, to award a Quotation in whole or in part , to award the Quotation that is in the Citys best interest and not necessarily the lowest cost, and the right to cancel this Quotation at any time without obligation.
