Renovation of a medical facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization to retain a Mechanical Contract as the prime contractor for the VGH Eye Care Centre Cooling Tower Replacement project. The project is to replace the existing cooling tower at VGH Eye Care Centre located at 2550 Willow St, Vancouver with a new closed loop adiabatic fluid cooler as detailed with in the drawings & specifications. Two (2) existing condenser water pumps serving two (2) existing chillers are also to be replaced to facilitate the fluid cooler installation. Construction is anticipated to begin in January 2024, and the substantial completion deadline is April 24th 2024. The required ready-for-takeover date is May 10, 2024. The contractor will be responsible for providing temporary cooling if May 10th, 2024 takeover cannot be achieved. Documents can be obtained from https://fraserhealth.bidsandtenders.ca/
