All of Parks and Trail Signs ordered must be delivered to the FOB point no later than November 1, 2023. Indicate on the Bidders Signature Page, the number of calendar days required for delivery. The City anticipates issuing a purchase order for the quantities specified in this quote. If additional quantities are needed CBJ may ask the Vendor to honor any pricing submitted for the duration of the current fiscal year. The City does not guarantee any minimum or maximum orders ACCEPTANCE, RETURNS & REFERENCES: The City reserves the right to determine suitability of items offered. All goods or materials are subject to approval by the City. Any items rejected because of non-conformity of the terms and conditions or specifications of this contract, whether held by the City or returned, will be at the Contractors risk and expense. The bidder may be asked to provide references from clients who have previously received products from the supplier. Failure to produce acceptable references upon request may deem the services and materials offered unacceptable and the bid non-responsive. References may be a factor in determining the bidders ability to provide a quality product for the City. SIGN MATERIALS: The supplied signs must be of Custom High-Pressure Laminate material composed of the required layers of FSC Certified phenolic resin impregnated brown or black kraft filler paper to produce 1/2 thick panels, surfaced by a layer of melamine overlay, graphics imaged on saturation grade paper with UV resistant pigment based process color inks, and with an optically clear UV overlay that will resist no less than 99% of all sunlight and UV rays, as well as provides a graffiti resistant surface that allows for removal with standard cleaners. FABRICATION: Materials used in the fabrication of this equipment must be free of damaging kinks and sharp bends. Forming of materials is to be accomplished by methods that will not cause injury to the material. Shearing, chipping, and cutting is to be neat and accurate. All major bends and corners must be made proficiently, insuring uniformity of size and shape. Bolt holes are to be accurately punched or drilled and must have burrs removed. Washers and lock washers are to be used in accordance with appropriate commercial practice. All nuts, bolts, screws, and other hardware are to be tightened to within manufacturers specifications and good practice. Rivet holes must be accurately punched or drilled, with burrs removed. Rivets are to be driven with the appropriate tools and will completely fill the holes. Heads, when not countersunk or flattened, must be of approved shape and uniform size for the diameter of the rivet. The procedures and standards used must conform to nationally recognized codes and standards. The surfaces to be welded are to be free of rust scale, paint, grease, or other foreign matter. All castings to be sound and free from patching, warping or any defect which might reduce reliability or performance.
