Provision of Snow Removal and Landscaping Services seeking bids for a 1 (one) year contract with the option with the option to renew the contracts for one (1) additional one (1) year period. Bethesda's objective is to ensure the safety of all staff, individuals receiving support and visitors from slips, trips and falls due to snow and freezing rain conditions during the winter months October 15th to April 15th and to ensure that all driveways, parking lots, fire egress routes/emergency exits (including decks and wheelchair ramps) and equipment are clear from snow and ice. Landscaping services shall run from April 16 to October 14 annually, with spring clean-up required to transition into summer maintenance and fall clean-up required to transition into winter. The Successful Bidder shall provide the supply and delivery of all labour, training, material and equipment necessary for snow removal and winter maintenance and landscaping services for areas identified in the RFT document. Bethesda's objective is to maintain all aspects of the landscape, such that the plants are healthy and thriving; the sites are clean and aesthetically pleasing; and features and elements are kept in a condition that enhances the design and intended use of each site. It is the intention of Bethesda to enter into the Agreement with only one (1) legal entity based on the terms and conditions within the RFT. There is no mandatory site meeting.
