ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS --------------------------------------- Sealed proposals will be received by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, until 2:00 pm, prevailing local time, on Tuesday, October 3rd for DFG Project No. 2023-505, Lower Lemhi River Rehabilitation Adaptive Management Project. The Adaptive Management Project includes channel reconstruction and floodplain modifications in and adjacent to the Lemhi River to increase conveyance capacity and connect additional floodplain area. This project includes temporary water diversions/management, channel relocation, channel construction, riffle construction, floodplain excavation, installation of bank and floodplain roughness structures and associated rehabilitation work. Work is projected to begin in October and extend through mid-December. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required of the successful bidder prior to the award of a contract if the bid amount is greater than $50,000. If a bidder does not currently have a Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho, they must verify the capability of obtaining a license prior to submitting a proposal. Include names and Public Works License number on Sub-Contractor List as part of bid if total project value is greater than $50,000. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, and all craftsman and laborers performing their work under this contract shall be paid at the minimum prevailing wage rate as currently determined for this area by the U.S. Department of Labor.
