Village of Ontario (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Relocation Development Infrastructure Improvements (Woodland Heights) - 200145 Work will include: installation of new infrastructure at Woodland Heights (3,900 feet of roadway) within the Village of Ontario for development outside the flood plain, including stripping and stockpiling topsoil, common excavation, clearing and grubbing, lot grading, base course, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, pavement marking, storm water basins, restoration of the work area, and other miscellaneous items in conformance with the Contract Documents. All Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or EJCDC C-430 Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid payable to the OWNER, in accordance with bidding requirements set forth in Wis. The Contract is subject to prevailing wage rates and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. The CONTRACTOR shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wages for the area and Federal Davis Bacon-wage rates. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, anges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 45 days after the actual day of the opening thereof.
