SPECIFICATIONS: The Ferguson-Florissant School District is requesting bids to replace the existing intercom system at McCluer North High School and McCluer North Annex. o The contractor shall provide and install a Carehawk school intercom system to replacement the existing dated and unsupported Dukane system. The Carehawk system shall provide paging and call function similar to the existing Dukane system as well as advanced modern features such as web-based bell scheduling programming, phone system integrations and low power consumption. o The Carehawk system will integrate with the telephone system so that pages and calls can be made from regular desk phones. This functionality will require an analog CO/FXO port connection from the telephone system as well as telephone system programming. This will require coordination with the district phone system administrator and may require the addition of an analog gateway from the school's phone vendor. o An admin handset station will be installed in the office near the equipment head end and will be used for making pages and initiating and receiving calls to rooms. o An AUX program music connection jack will be available at the equipment rack in the office for connection of a phone, tablet or computer so that music can easily be played over the system. o A Carehawk remote client system will be added for the remote building location, providing up to 32 ports of bidirectional intercom communication and paging. The system will act as an extension of the main Carehawk system. A stable Vlan network link between buildings is required. o The district will provide four network connections at system head-end rack and three connections at the remote building system location. o The district will provide IT support for Vlan configuration and IP addressing of new intercom equipment. o Contractor will reuse existing equipment rack, speakers, call buttons and building wiring and terminations points in existing condition. o One additional amplifier will be included for a general paging zone. o Intercom speakers, call buttons and wiring need to be installed in the 10th grade office,11th grade office, 12th grade office, counselors office, classroom 1295 and classroom 2232. o Includes installation and configuration of system components and use training
