Site work for a water / sewer project in Ocean Ridge, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of April 1, 2024, the project was awarded to Foster Marine Contractors, Inc., but the awarded amount is not available.** The Town of Ocean Ridge is requesting sealed bids for the Water Main Pipe Enhancement Project. Further instructions and conditions are stated in the Invitation to Bid. The Contract to be awarded is anticipated to be a lump sum contract based on unit prices. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check made payable to the Town as the Owner, or a Bid Bond. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidder's total price indicated on the Bid Form. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids except as otherwise provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder, who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to furnish a 100% Construction Performance Bond which meets the requirements of section 255.05, Florida Statutes. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive all nonmaterial irregularities, to re-advertise, and to cancel any invitation to bid when it is in the best interests of the Town.
