This project involves the rehabilitation of two existing wastewater lift stations. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid. It shall be each bidder's sole responsibility to inspect the site of the work and to inform himself regarding all local conditions under which the work is to be done The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond in an amount of 100% of the total contract price. The Contractor and all Subcontractors for this project will be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates for the area of the project as required in the contract documents. Upon consideration of the proposals the City Commission plans to award a Contract Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities and technicalities, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the owner a. Lift Station 21 involves site paving and electrical work along with a concrete driveway being put in place leading up the lift station site. b. Base Bid for Lift Station 25 includes but is not limited to: Lift Station Discharge Piping, Installation of pumps, Including all Piping, Fittings, Guide Rails, Lift Chains, Vent, Hatches, Valves, Electrical Modifications, Lighting and Receptacles; electrical equipment Installation including, but not limited to, relocation of existing lift station control panel, terminal boxes, floodlight, service structure, main breaker, Automatic transfer switch, conduit, wire, and all ancillary devices as shown on construction drawings Necessary to Complete the Work for a Complete and Operating System. c. Coordination with Texas New Mexico Power will be required for work on both lift stations.
