Saving Project...

Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Prairie Village, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; and library.

Prairie Village requesting Architectural Design Services for a Site Design Study to evaluate locations for a new community center and relocation of the Corinth Library Branch for Johnson County Library. The City of Prairie Village has entered into separate Memorandums of Understanding MOU with the YMCA as the operational manager of the community center and Johnson County Library to evaluate potential site locations within Harmon Park. The community center project would be in partnership with the YMCA as the operational manager and replace the current Paul Henson YMCA facility. The Johnson County Library is interested in exploring the possibility of this phase of the project will include all initial site design and community engagement For contracts in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), the foreign contractor shall file with the Director of Revenue an acceptable bond for ten percent (10%) of the contract. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
