The project consists of the renovation and expansion of the Eugene Lamb Community Center for the City of Midway, Florida. Work includes demolition of selected interior and exterior elements such as non-load-bearing and load-bearing partitions, doors, windows, finishes, fixtures, and select exterior concrete walks and railings, with preparation for new construction. The new work involves a 4,212 SF addition and interior renovations to the existing 2,606 SF facility, resulting in a total area of 6,818 SF. The addition includes new assembly and business occupancy spaces, offices, storage, restrooms, and support areas. Construction will utilize CMU, metal stud framing, pre-engineered metal building components, aluminum storefront systems, fiber cement siding, EIFS, and new roofing systems including standing seam metal, TPO membrane, and asphalt shingles. Interior improvements will feature new wall, floor, and ceiling finishes, updated lighting and mechanical systems, new casework, and upgraded plumbing fixtures. Site work includes new concrete sidewalks, landscaping, grading, drainage, and utility connections.
