The items of work include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Contract No. 1 - General Construction: This work shall include providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the Roof Replacement Project. The project includes the work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications consisting of General Construction. General Construction includes, but is not limited to, complete demolition and removal and replacement of sections of the existing building's membrane roofing systems with new fully adhered Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) Roofing System along with tapered and rigid roof insulation in compliance with the International Energy Conservation Code, new coping systems and flashings. The project also includes the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials. Bid Alternate No. 1 - Ornamental Trim and Roof Coping: This work shall include providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of replacement of the ornamental roof trim details to match existing on the building's south parapet wall. This is an exempt capital improvement project, and Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the work and which are to be separately sold by the Contractor to the Town of Camillus prior to incorporation into the work of the Contract. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
