Site work for a warehouse / distribution facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.

Redevelop six acres of property at the Terminal 5 (T5) cargo facility for the purpose of increasing cargo container handling capacity and add flexibility for the handling and staging of export cargo containers. Project is federally funded with two U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) grants. The project will clear the site and bring the pavement to acceptable cargo load capacity and grading standards, including all access vaults, lift station and utility covers and be permitted by City of Seattle prior to start of construction. The area is adjacent to and on an active cargo terminal. Portions of site requires Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badge access and the Contractor will need to minimize impacts to the tenant operations. Questions Due September 25, 2024 The scope of work of this project consists of design, permitting, demolition, and other site improvements. The following bullet points provide some guidance on generic tasks that are required on this project o Demolition of structure, fuel pump stations and perimeter lighting o Paving improvements o Stormwater o Electrical upgrades o Code Related Fire Life Safety upgrades o Fence Installation o Tenant Coordination o Soil and Ground Water Management Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (TESC) The Port's estimated budget for this contract is Thirteen Million Nine Hundred Seven Thousand Dollars ($13,907,000.00) excluding sales tax. The Port encourages proposers to meet the project requirements while keeping total project costs within the budget. The desired Substantial Completion date is January 20, 2026. The Port understands that this date may be unachievable. The contractual Substantial Completion date will be set per the achievable date provided by the Design Builder in their proposal. The Port reserves the right to determine that the best value to the Port is not the lowest Price Proposal. If negotiations fail with the firm that proposes the best value, the Port reserves the right to terminate negotiations with that firm. The Port will initiate negotiations with the firm determined to propose the next best value, and so on down the line until negotiations are successful or may cancel the solicitation.
