Wall Pads for Legacy Arena The Douglas County School District hereby request bids from licensed, qualified companies to furnish and possibly install wall pads at our new Douglas County School System Legacy Arena in accordance with the plans and specifications outlined in this bid package entitled Wall Pads for Legacy Arena. No oral interpretation or clarification will be made to any firm or any individual as to the meaning of
the ITB document. Requests for interpretation or clarification shall be made in writing and delivered
to the ITB Coordinator via the Bonfire portal on or before 2:00 pm EST on Friday, September 22,
2023. The DCSD will respond in writing to all clarification requests by posting questions and
responses on the Bonfire portal. All responses will be posted by 5:00 pm EST on Tuesday,
September 26, 2023. No questions will be answered within 72 hours of bid opening.
All questions should be submitted through the Bonfire portal. No questions other than
written will be accepted and no response other than written will be binding upon the DCSD. The DCSD has issued this Invitation to Bid for the purpose and intent of obtaining bid responses
from qualified firms to provide and possibly install arena wall pads at our new Douglas County
School System Legacy Arena. Firms wishing to install wall pads under this contract must be
experienced with the requirements and application of the wall pads offered.
B. BACKGROUND
The Douglas County School District is the 17th largest school district in the state of Georgia with a
student population north of 26,000 and over 3,000 employees. The DCSD's number one goal is to
ensure the safety of our students and our employees. We are eager to partner with a firm who will
ensure we have cutting edge products and ensure that our staff is well versed and learns how to
utilize the entire catalog of features at their disposal.
The Douglas County School District is currently comprised of twenty elementary schools, eight
middle schools, five high schools, two alternative learning locations and three central office
locations.
The School District operates under a fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. More
