Description

Remodeling and renovation of a municipal facility in Lakeland, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This project will consist of the remodeling of the formerly active Lanier County Primary School located at 28 S. Valdosta Road, Lakeland, Georgia 31635, to convert it for the new use as the Lanier County Courts and Administration Building. This facility will house facilities for the County's Clerk of Courts, Superior Courts, Probate and Magistrate Courts, County Tax Assessor's and Commissioners' offices, County Commission office, County Development and Code Compliance offices, County Election offices, County Extension Services offices, County EMA offices, County Sheriff's offices, and Community Group Facilities. The majority of the construction is expected to be interior remodel and improvements to all building systems, with some limited exterior repairs and improvements to the building and site
