Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 17,556-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 07/31/2024 at 5:00PM EST for filed sub-bids. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Sub Bid Category Masonry, Misc. Metal, Roofing and Flashing, Glass and Glazing, Tile, Acoustical Tile, Resilient Flooring, Painting, Fire Protection, Sprinkler Systems, Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical. The Williamstown Fire District is seeking to replace the current outdated fire station located at 34 Water Street in Williamstown MA with a new state of the art Station. The design team has developed plans for a new 22,000 SF station on a parcel owned by the Fire Department located at 562 Main Street in Williamstown MA. The new building is seeking ILFI (LBC) Zero Carbon certification, which will necessitate strict commissioning of mechanical equipment and building envelope systems. Additionally, the project will be seeking Mass Save Rebates for energy conservation associated with extremely aggressive EUI goals. The project will be designed to the 9th Edition of the Massachusetts State Building Code (Code), the 2023 Stretch Energy Code and all applicable Federal and State Regulations and Local Ordinances.
