The Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages in accordance with the Specification for Liquidated Damages - Completion Specified by Completion Date. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES
A Liquidated Damage of FIFTEEN HUNDRED ($1,500.00) dollars per calendar day will be assessed to the Contractor for Snowplowing that has not been completed within 12 hours, excluding between the hours of 9 pm. and 4 am, on all service roads following notification from the Contract Administrator (CA). A Liquidated Damage of FIFTEEN HUNDRED ($1,500.00) dollars per calendar day will be assessed to the Contractor for Snowplowing that has not been completed within 48 hours on all other roads, following notification from the Contract Administrator (CA).
Liquidated Damages shall continue to be assessed daily until the assigned project is complete. SEASONAL SHUTDOWN DATE
The Seasonal Shutdown Date for this project is: MARCH 31, 2024. For the 2023/24 winter season, Snowplowing and other winter activities will commence on or about November 1, 2023, and will continue until March 31, 2024.
