The Folsom Cordova Unified School District ("District") invites proposals from contractors for the purchase of HVAC equipment with controls and installation of controls at Mitchell Middle School. All proposers are required to read and completely familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the RFP and to submit all necessary paperwork required of proposers as specified in the RFP. The District reserves the right to postpone the opening of proposals, accept or reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informality in any proposal, all as the District deems to be in its own best interests. This project is a public works projects and is subject to prevailing wage requirements. The successful proposer(s), and each of its subcontractors, shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Wage rates can be obtained from the District by request. All proposers, and all subcontractors listed in any proposal, must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") pursuant to California Labor Code section 1725.5. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. This projectis a public works projects and is subject to prevailing wage requirements. The controls must be compatible with existing Trane Air-Fi control system and the District's existing Trane enterprise server. The units must be new, gas/electric, package units as specified by the District. The successful Vendor will be required to provide and install all field controls required for proper integration of new HVAC units. District anticipates handling the actual installation of the HVAC units through a separate subcontract. A list of equipment is attached as Exhibit A.
