This contract covers the string trimming of City of Asheville guardrails. Also included is the removal of trees less than 6 inches in diameter at breast height at the direction of the City inspector. Removed trees shall be trees that are either growing through the guardrail or in front of the guardrail. The City desires two complete cycles of guardrail trimming be performed under this contract. The City of Asheville has adopted the Asheville Business Inclusion Policy to encourage women and minority businesses' participation in the public bidding process. Bidders are hereby notified that this bid is subject to that Policy's provisions.
