Project consists of design and construction documents for a new approximately 300x300 free standing pre-engineered, pre-manufactured covered pavilion structure to be located, one at each of the schools identified above. Associated site demolition, prep, and miscellaneous concrete work is also included. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within 150 days from that Notice. Work is subject to liquidated damages of $250.00 consecutive calendar day. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after opening of bids. . Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier check, or Bid Bond using the Owner form payable to the Vermilion Parish School System, the amount of which shall be five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposed Base Bid plus all Alternates.
