Hauling and stockpiling of approximately 28,000 metric tonne of crushed gravel. The pit is located near Barrier Ford, east of Archerwill, more specifically either SE 29-41-12 W2. Stockpiling of said gravel will be at a location near Quill Lake, NW 9-36-16 W2. Hauling distance is 93 kilometers (58 miles). There is a drive-on scale at the gravel pit site to weigh all loads which will be the responsibility of your driver's. The R.M. requires scale tickets submitted weekly. The contractor is expected to supply sufficient equipment for loading, hauling and stockpiling and a minimum of five trucks for hauling. Tenders must state price on a per-tonne km basis which is to include ALL costs associated with loading, hauling & stockpiling. The contractor must carry adequate liability insurance (at least 2 million). Hauling to commence November 15, 2023 weather permitting. Tenders may be mailed, emailed or dropped off however, proof of bid bond and/or a certified cheque of 10% must accompany your tenders.
